Which one would you choose and what would you do? (Other than kick out anyone who uses pronouns). Me personally I'm torn between two:
Sony: not so much for PlayStation (I'd just shut down and fire everyone at California HQ and remove all censorship, make 18+ material require a password to look at) but anime access, cutting off any American influence there and getting better rates for studios would be in the best interest.
Bethesda: would fire Todd Howard then force them to go to Id and get a better game engine.
Disney, force them to make 2D animation again and kick out all the CGI shit. Make em either give up star wars or actually hire someone who knows how to make adequate movies. Also decanonise the sequels and basically all Disney has released and pick up the extended universe again to make some actual good movies and series. I would probably wanna start with a movie series on Darth Bane since I was a sucker for his story and loved the books.
Also put KK where she belongs: toilet cleaner in one of the filthiest parts of Disneyland.
I always wondered, never fully explored the Star Wars extended universe, based on it's material, would it be better to base any future movies after Luke and the gang are gone or have it like Rogue one where it's focused on side characters around the same period?
You could also go back, Bane is before Luke. KOTOR is also a thing. No need to base all in the original trilogy time window.
True but I'm always concerned about retconning to be fully open to it.
And that's why you'll need someone at the helm who isn't a complete retard or out to destroy the fandom. For Darth Bane and KOTOR it was Drew Karpyshyn, actually a guy who worked on Neverwinter Nights, Mass Effect, Mass Effect 1+2 as a writer. Think he should know his work best, no? It's possible to do this, just needs someone with the knowledge and also someone with passion behind it, good director but I wouldn't know who could do it personally.
The next star wars just starts with a middle aged Luke waking up from a terrible nightmare
Yea I remember after the sequels I was thinking wow, that’s the best they could come up with? They shouldn’t loosely adapted something in the extend we universe or at least continue stories in that timeline. Also Darth Bane would be cool
Agree, though I'd keep the cg shit as Pixar as it used to be.
Seems acceptable to me. I just miss those traditional animations or at least 2D. The worst is Disney SOLD their old equipment, they sold actual history instead of preserving it. I am still mad about this.
