Women are the main consumers in society, it makes more sense that media panders to them, not the other way around.

You really think media propagandists are sitting there thinking about how to please women, rather than how to control them?

You give women far too much credit. They are eternal children. They are not agents in their own right. They simply do as they're told.

I bet innumerable amounts that if you focused every media outlet on telling them to be good to men, they'd still be the same.

You just described the 1950's, the greatest time to be a man in the west that there ever was.
