The only thing worse than their new Acceptable Use Policy was their play acting that it was all just an accident.
"'Whoopsie doopsie! We accidentally made a few typos in our new legal document!"
Bullshit. You've showed me who you are, and I believe it.
PayPal has been a shit company for a long time. I've tolerated it because of the occasional convenience they provide, but they went far beyond the pale.
When I logged in to close my account, I was reminded that I created it in 1999.
Good thing I'm not sentimental.
They will still do it, just call it something else.
PayPal Still Threatens $2500 Fines for Promoting "Discriminatory" "Intolerance" (Even if Not "Misinformation") - https://reason.com/volokh/2022/10/09/paypal-still-threatens-2500-fines-for-promoting-discriminatory-intolerance-even-if-not-misinformation/
Promoting discrimination against Whites and Asians will not be punished by Paypayl though.
This is old news by this point. The story is evolving, now thet are possibly facing bankruptcy from what is effectively a bank run.
We can only hope.
Edit: I advocate a bank run in general due to non-existent savings rates in light of relatively high federal reserve rates. Look at the 13 Week Treasury Bill yield currently. Pays much better than a savings account or stuffing your money into a checking account.
This was actually good as I logged into paypal to cancel it and found I have some money that I can return to me.
Then cancel once it's in my hand.
Down over 5 percent in stock value today. Their executives should be in prison.
too bad. already cancelled my account.
