I know you’re talking about the student, but I’m surprised that the professor in this case is actually a woman and one that I would have assumed is a dyke based on appearances.
If you were someone like me, who started college at 43 after a 20 year Navy career, peer pressure just rolls off like water off Gortex. I mean, sure, they could try and get into my face, but they would need a step stool, as I stand 6'5". :D
Unironically, I went to the kind of school where a student who stood up against the entire peer group like that would have been bashed. In fact, I saw and experienced this. And it patently was not a “rough” school…
Middle class kids can do horrific shit to enforce conformity and social norms… And now? Those “norms” are as here…
Edit: talking High School, here, not college. Little different, of course.
Good. Give them all Fs except the 1 and be done with it. Students do not dictate to the school.
That one student has balls of steel. Imagine the peer pressure they faced to join in the nonsense.
he deserves a medal. assuming it is a guy. and I would assume so

one medal each - for the teacher and the hold out student.
Probably super-sexual, then. Super-lesbians were right on-board with super-straights from day-1.
She doesn’t look that dyke-y, really…
Everything’s relative, but I wouldn’t have assumed that, personally…
Probably a pureblood as well.
The pressure is relative.
