That's not exactly true. I own a Switch -- I don't play it a ton but I like it for traveling or on the rare day off I get to do basically nothing. But I like to think I'm pretty damn far from an NPC.
While I can appreciate the need to choose your battles and the futility of fighting a battle that's already lost, I don't think forever retreating is a sustainable response to this shit. At some point there is a need to hold and retake ground.
As a nintendo fan it is sad to see that so many nintendo fandoms are breeding grounds for these people.
