I guess the one positive thing for me personally about all this is that it has almost totally wiped out my interest in the sport (as have recent events in rugby league, union and cricket. Union is still the worst for this, though).

If the tranny and false racism allegations didn't do it, and the cheerleading for the Queen's death (in both footy and league) didn't do it, then receiving actual death threats on their respective subreddits, when expressing a contrary opinion, before being banned before I could defend myself? Yeah, that'd probably be the final straw...

Fuck this nightmare. Might still go to some (local/international) games. Might still watch it at the pub. But fuck watching this shit on my own devices. Fuck caring. Fuck discussing it in the "designated, appropriate forums".

These absolute degenerate psychos don't deserve the clicks, or the views, or the attention. If they want to literally attempt to destroy a club (Hawthorn, FYI, as per the links below) over nothing more than allegations, then they, everyone suggesting that, frankly doesn't deserve a single iota of attention or time.
