Corporatism is the merging of the state and business. It's explicitly the goal of Communism/Socialism. That's what "seizing the means of production" means. They take it over through the state under the guise that it represents The People. Corporatism is leftism. Corporatism is government backed monopolies. Corporatism is antithetical to Capitalism.
Corporatism confuses people because the Left keep trying to pre-tend it means Co-op -eratism rather than Corporate-ism. It's why they try and make a distinction between Corporatism and Fascist Corporatism as if they were different in the slightest.
I tend to just call it by it's other name: Syndicalism
They are, quite literally, trying to form Syndicates within the economy, combining state, labor unions, and public corporations, ruled by political organizations, working within each industry as a racket. Or: a syndicate.
Corporatism is a synonym of Fascism. The woke corporation thing, the encroachment of Big Tech into governance, the capture of corporate news by the DP and the current regime, all of it, textbook Fascism.
Arguably, the military-industrial complex is Fascist to the degree that the state enables the collusion.
The EU is a bureaucracy poised to impose Fascism across Europe and already has to the degree that "member states" do the EU's bidding.
Antifa is a gaggle of Communists pretending to be anti-Fascists, judging by their targets.
Fascism can be implemented without the presence of a dictator or "strong-man" head of state.
