That article was a horrorshow. The psycho 'activists' want to decriminalize intentionally trying to infect someone with AIDS, unless actual transmission occurs. Hey, no harm, no foul, right? Attempted murder would be legal if it were up to them.
Reading between the lines made it clear that their primary objective was not ensuring people's safety, but "destigmatizing" HIV. Because a disease that shaves 10 years off your life expectancy and makes you a serf to Big Pharma should not have a stigma.
Of course, all of this was attributed to 'experts', and the government said that it would be consulting with 'activists' to decide what to do (RIP Canadians).
It was looking like the UK was going to be the first ones to beat the Globalist Nightmare Dystopia 100% Glitchless category in the 21st century, but Canada managed to pull way ahead by simply not giving a shit any more and dropping all pretense about what they're doing. They're evil tyrants and they're proud of it.

Maybe it’s just LA, but network tV has been rife with pharmaceutical ads for aids medication in the last few years. It’s horrifying because you’re obviously in the system already if you knowingly have aids and are being treated for it. There’s just zero reason to constantly air these ads if it isn’t to encourage risky behavior in general

Oh for sure. Another profit motive is they're trying to get people with AIDS to ask their doctor for these particular medications, which some entity which ultimately ends up being funded by people like me will be forced to pay for.
It's the same trick they do with many other drugs where the old stuff is out of patent and so they need to create demand for new stuff.
Big Pharma is happy if you get AIDS, or anything else they can bill someone for. The sicker you are, the better.
