I'm surprised we don't see cross party plants more often honestly. The US seems to have a political system ripe for abuse. If you are a Republican in the US, why aren't you registered as a Democrat and voting for Republican candidates in their primaries and answering their polls as a Democrat ?
RINOs are more of a thing than DINOs. RINOs like Oz can still have big money support. It is more realistic for Democrats to vote a less MAGA candidate in a Republican primary than for Republican voters to find a Democrat they'd like to support.
I'm not sure what the lesson of Oz is. I feel like if a moderate Republican type person ran as a Democrat, he would just not get a lot of support from Democrats, and being one would make his case to Republicans that much harder. Would be easier just to compete for the Republican nomination on whatever platform. I don't think there is much of a middle ground. There are plenty of independent voters because of disgust for the parties, but I don't think that makes them moderate voters. One thing Oz had going for him was he was at least initially supported by the fickle Mr Trump. There's not really such a figure in the Democratic party.

That's how AOC got in. Find a solid blue place where the candidate isn't even campaigning, sign up for the primary, get a few voices and win the primary by almost default.
If a stupid bartender can do it, so can an unknown guy that ends up being a Republican in disguise.
Tell me a conservative latina couldn't have done exactly what the DSA did with AOC. Just pretend you have a very democrat like platform for the primary to get voices on board, once nominated, just win by default being in a solid blue area.
Well duh. The state won't likely elect a Democrat any time soon, so them backing her is pretty basic given that she certainly voted like one.

Dems have been doing a lot to boost Trump-esque Republican candidates in the primaries this year.
They’re so lost in this woke ideologue they actually believe the average person buys their pedophilia indoctrination.
That seems to be what they're doing in Wisconsin with Liz Cheney.
Wyoming.
What good would it do to vote for Republican candidates in Democratic primaries? They're not even on the ballot. You mean write in?
Get a Republican candidate to run in as a Democrat in their primary and then vote them in ?
That's what Dr. Oz did as a Republican in PA and he won. Now they have 2 democrat choices for 2022.

That's what I'm saying. I'm surprised more people don't abuse the easily abused system.
Have your candidate register as a Democrat, have him present himself. That's what I'm saying!
Don't just find a D you like, put a R you like in the D primary, like Dr. Oz did in PA!

That it's easy to infiltrate the other party.

RINOs getting their midterm love from the press before they become “the enemy” again.
