Canada is also noteworthy for that guy who dressed up as a police officer and murdered people using traffic stops on the highway for hours
Also for that high-ranking military pilot who raped and murdered two or three women around his area. He didn't use a gun but that should make people think about whether only government employees should be able to bear arms.
The Polytechnique shooting, the parliament Shooter (Denis Lortie), the Dawson shooter.
And then there's when the Government just machine gunned protesters in the streets.
Everybody should be required to have a gun and hopefully it will be like nuclear detterence but with guns instead of nukes
Uvalde taught everyone that Police being the only ones with guns is horrific.
Are they backtracking on the defund the police movement?
No they want less police shooting specific people and you to not have guns….. because that has worked historically
How about just violence in general for both? Saying that whatever other country has "less gun violence" is one of the left's favorite tricks for trying sell gun control.
Pretty sure we actually have a higher per capita ownership rate as well, due to so many people living away from cities.
they stopped collecting criminal racial statistics
Iceland: 94% Icelandic, 6% all other
Japan: 98% Yamato, 2% all other
Illinois (chosen for no particular reason of course): 60% White, 18% Hispanic, 14.5% black, 7.5% all other
Not sure if there's any pattern here
Norway: Islamist who was "known to the police" and recently interviewed by the security service shoots up a bar with a MP40. Immediately called a attack on LGBT even though the guys seem to only be tangentially involved. Jury is still out.
Denmark: haven't heard many details, but some guy shoots up a mall with a bolt action rifle.
That's the last two weeks. Right now the Dutch cops are shooting at random farmers and prepping to Tiananmen them with armored vehicles.
