Agreed. Maybe I'm overly paranoid, but I feel like the filibuster is the only thing that's keeping us from going down the path of Venezuela. We're already on that path in many ways, but at the current rate it's at least feasible to turn things around. If they do away with the filibuster the brakes are off and there's no turning around.
I'd feel differently if I knew we had fair elections. But I'm legit terrified about of waking up one day soon and seeing that the two Dem holdouts caved and the filibuster is gone.
I cringe imagining which justices in the majority of Dobbs would also agree that the Congress has the authority to tell states they can't ban abortion.
That's not the way it fucking works.
Either there is a filibuster or there isn't. If you won't honor it, there's no reason anyone else should.
This needs to be a secession trigger. If they get this then the country is effectively ruled by 5 democrat run shithole cities.
The filibuster is one of the few tools the minority has left to be meaningfully represented.

At this point, I am almost ready. Most of the country, not just by land, but population, is ready to remove these motherfuckers from this planet.

(we all know it's Kavanaugh)
Biden says a lot of things. Most of them unintelligible.
On the contrary, I think he speaks with unparalleled trunalimunumaprzure.
