I think of these two more like the gun that journos used. If it wasn't these two, it would have been some other brigade of assholes. The journos wanted to 'cure' (destroy) this aspect of culture, and fem an' femmer over here were the tool they used. That's my take anyway.

That's how it has always used to be. There have always been a minority of women in primarily male hobbies and a minority of men of in primarily female hobbies. But only the former are bitching about it. And the reason most women don't play video games isn't because men don't let them -- its because there are much fewer interested in it.
Nah, guns aren't people. These two cunts were willing and able to be the faces of their 'movement.' That makes them worse.
