Not a criticism of you, but the right will literally feel pure ecstasy if it is not being completely routed for just one moment.
Roe v Wade would never have been a problem if the system of judicial review had not been instantiated as the means for deciding constitutional matters to begin with. The Founders never intended SCOTUS to have that kind of power.
I can't say all the founders never intended that - since Marbury vs. Madison was decided when they were alive - but I agree. I would prefer inconsistent interpretation between the federal judicial districts, and in issues of constitutionality or federal-state overlap, the state's should have the final say. If the rest of the union thinks a state is grossly violating the Constitution, they should censure or kick them out. (we might have avoided civil war if expelling states was addressed in the Constitution)
Unfortunately while the entire right was distracted by these big wins, Biden just signed a new round of 2nd amendment infringement. The only right that matters is still dying a death by a thousand papercuts.
It's dead as soon as it gets to the Supreme Court also my state is a gun sanctuary state all those poor underprivileged guns have to be protected
You could have Biden sign anything. A bill to legalize heroin production and export? Signed. A bill that forbids the word 'senile', on threat of death? Signed. A bill to put tariffs on child sex slavery? Signed.
