It's a jewish nose because the animators/directors themselves are jews, so their art direction skews towards their own likeness. Just like how Steven Universe has curly black hair.
The intent seems to be 'tumblr nose' style, but those were usually done as some blotchy gradient. Which Cal-arts animation can't replicate with it's flat colors.
Since everyone already said what I was going to say, I'm just going to mention that the show itself looks absolutely hideous to me.

Both tumblr nose and calarts need to be defaulted in the artist having their hands broken.
