Guys, guys, this isn't really weird at all. People have been doing this for 10,000 years.

The only difference is, back in the Babylon days, when small sects dressed up like demons and partied in designated temples of Moloch and Lamashtu, everyone knew they were freaks and most people were self aware enough to worship better gods.

Whereas now everyone is so spiritually deadened they have no idea what any of this means and the freaks have recruited half the population into unwittingly worshipping demiurges of decay and dysfunction.

This will surely not have any negative side effects.
