Franken was sacrificed in order to not distract from Roy Moore. Cuomo because the nursing home scandal had to be covered up.

Franken was sacrificed because the MeToo machine needed some semblance of non-partisanship if it was going to successfully go after Trump.
I think the success of the Russian collusion hoax was the real reason why the MeToo machine effectively shut down. No need to put more leftist creeps in the line of fire when the original target has already been neutralized.

They weren't exactly shy at the time that franken needed to resign to give the appearance that they were serious about sexual harrassment in their own party, not just a tool the attack the other party with. They later abandoned that but it was what they were saying at the time.
Considering that you get everything else wrong, I'll disregard wild claims with no evidence.

So they were advising him on how to beat accusations of sexual harassment, when you claimed they plotted his downfall. Sounds like Time's Up is a puppet of the Democratic establishment, which makes far more sense.
