The Catholic church is long gone. A shell of what it used to represent. It's nothing more than a political tool used by liberals. An entire faith based on keeping tradition and being unwilling to change now does so at the drop of a hat. Why should we need a church to get in touch with God anyway? Isn't that an artificial road block? If you confess your sins by speaking directly to God/Jesus will he ignore you because you didn't tell a priest first?
Priests at the local level need to repudiate Bishops that support this.
Bishops need to step up and repudiate the Vatican in general and the heretic Pope in particular. Otherwise we need another "Great Schism".
