this is why african immigrants today are statistically much better off in even a single generation than "african americans". the difference is huge in literally every study that looks into it.
The African immigrants I've had the pleasure to talk to have all been impeccably based. Hard working, disciplined, understanding of the value of education. Not too many of them in my part of the country but generally they've been things like cab drivers, substitute teachers, etc. Still trying to get a foothold in the US I guess.
If your average black American was like them we'd be so much better off. Course, being in the US I'm sure the African immigrants I've seen are naturally the hard working ones. I've seen enough footage to know there's plenty of idiots throughout all of Africa. Lest we forget the nonsense in Liberia or the absolute tragedy of Rhodesia and South Africa.
