Was this show ever not shit? The internet seemed to like the first season, but the summaries I've read make it sound like the demonic pandering wasn't front and center in every episode, so people treated like a return to normalcy.
I didn't watch season 2. There were enough signs apparent that it was going to be some kind of propaganda vector. Sharpen up and cut this shit out of your life or stop complaining.

The few episodes I've seen would've been easily recognized as demonic pandering a couple decades ago.

How did they pander? I enjoyed the first season quite a bit and thought the second was much weaker with a few standouts.
