Yet another reminder that, if the right ever does what it needs to do to actually "conserve" something, it's going to lose a lot of these fair-weather friends.
What else would you vote on? A politician's supposed policy? You know that no matter who gets in, they're not going to do any of what they said they'd do, either on purpose or because the rest of the lizard people stymie them
People were young and naive.

One of my earliest "confused liberal" moments was sitting at a dinner on election night in 2012 watching a bunch of so-called "liberals" toast his re-election and wondering why they were so happy someone who was drone-striking American citizens was re-elected.
And if it needs to be said:
This is not an endorsement of one party over another, or even voting altogether.
It's just insulting the average dem who truly only votes based on feelings. At least this one is honest enough to admit it.
Sort of illustrates the problem with Democracy. People can vote based on whatever, whether they're sophisticated or not. I know lots of bleeding heart Republicans, too. Know nothing about policy; just think Trump is a rude, bad man, and diversity is our strength.
