I own thousands of dollars in custom made hood ornaments. I've spent over a year perfecting my hood ornament placement and it's still not enough. If any car manufacturer put in as much effort as I do, car shoppers would be buying those cars, by simple virtue of being a car and putting in that much effort. But because I'm not a car and can't do 70 on the highway carrying 4, nobody buys me at car lots. I hate it so much, and it makes me want to die. Most of the hood ornaments I own are so nice they stack an extra point simply for owning them, yet I'll never be able to carry someone to his workplace on a gallon of gas.
