Why is his age included in the headline but hers isn't? Not everyone will know the US grading system and even then birthdays will happen so it won't be precise.
Plus grade doesn't necessarily determine age range anyways as it could be an extremely smart 6 year old or a mentally challenged 25 year old, the latter being something we had in our 3rd grade classes.
mentally challenged 25 year old in a class of children
That doesn't seem like a great idea what with the massive difference in size and power a 25 y/o will have over anyone under 10. Add in different mental issues and you have a time bomb waiting to go off in many cases.
To be fair I had a guy who was 18 or 19 in my grade 4 class. In addition to being non vocal he also had some bone disorder leaving him wheelchair bound.
The end result left him as a large sloth like creature that most of the class found unsettling, rather than anything that would be dangerous to the children.

She was 10, btw.

So situations like that are possible.
Dodgeball would be a massacre.
Would be funny to watch though.
Could be some kind of law meant to protect victims.
