The people who ban you for literally saying "men aren't women" or that vaccines that have killed people aren't perfectly safe think that Trudeau's new censorship bill is too extreme and a threat to free speech.
Don't think for a second that Twitter's opposition isn't just self-serving.
Michael Geist is a national treasure; I used to read him all the time when the copyright wars were raging.
Interesting that the wokies haven't quite forgotten that censorship can be used against them as well.
Although I found this quote to be hilarious:
Twitter to government: stay off our turf
Woke cultists don't care about censorship when it's them doing the censoring, and fully support these laws. These companies oppose these laws because they're very costly for them to abide by. All social media companies (excepting employees who are woke cultists) would prefer to not have to spend huge amounts of money hiring tens of thousands of censors. Yes, it really takes that many.
Of course they did...
Canada has no other option really... The population is becoming a multiethnic mosaic difficult to manage without repression, just like any African or Middle East nation. Canada has Whites, Indians, Chinese, Africans, Muslims in the order of millions each already. There is no other way.
