does it have anything to do with the countries being flooded by third worlders
Was literally my first thought.
You let in third worlders, you let in disease. Nothing we haven't known for longer than any of us have been alive.
Why?
third world countries with poor hygienic practices have higher hepatitis infections, but the article (that I did not read) claims this new surge is not related to the known viral hepatitis
