Some of the morons in the comments couldn't grasp how 53% of the vote was a landslide victory to the trailing party with a 34% approval.
Because it's a 20 point spread you dimwits. Twenty fucking points. And that my freinds, is a landslide.
Americans do not understand how often the ruling party in most of Europe does not have 50% of the votes. A party having more then half on its own is incredible.

He's basically right about the local level. The uniparty works like a cult. The youngest members or those in inconsequential districts haven't been fully indoctrinated yet, and they are more likely to believe they are truly representing their voters. Though they are often corrupt all on their own. (the easily corruptable are more likely to be selected to run) You don't become aware that it's literally a single national organization until you get near the top.
Europe is a silly place.
