Were it Tuesday I'd have used the Bison meme but unfortunately the simulation doesn't have that much irony going for it right now.
Stabbings in London aren't uncommon for anyone that isn't aware. Guns aren't a thing in the UK as they are in other countries so the fallback is to knives and other tools.
Some UK police even tried to tackle this problem by having an anonymous knife dump bin set up for such dangerous weapons to be disposed of without repercussions.
The bin was stolen. 🙄
Also as with many news headlines these days, inb4 Coulter's Law since no mentions of race are in the headline as the two most common options are:
Ebil hwite man. Must plaster all over headline in massive font to promote narrative
Poor, oppressed man of black. Must avoid bringing up race until
the story is memory-holedall theracistfacts are known.Again, it's London. You could put easy money on this being black-on-black gang fighting as historically that's what it normally is.
Don't forget when they obfuscate Pakistani crime by saying "Asian"
I think it's technically correct continentally but it's gotten to the point that "Asian [grooming gangs]" is just synonymous for Pakistani/Muslim groups across English. The largest cities, London, Manchester, then Birmingham, have significant issues with diversity related conflict and it's a fairly widespread matter even outside the larger areas such as those three.
England has 9 regions. Going by population and including noteworthy locations they are:
The South East. Milton Keyes, Oxford.
London. London, obviously.
The North West. Manchester.
East of England. Norwich, Cambridge.
The West Midlands. Birmingham.
The South West. Bristol.
Yorkshire and Humber. Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford, Rotherham, York,
The East Midlands. Leicester, Nottingham.
The North East. Newcastle.
Several of those names should stand out [and not just because I emboldened them] as having history with such groups. History where the ink isn't even dry on the paper yet.
On top of all this during various investigations into those groups the victims were either blamed for what happened to them or threatened with accusations of racism if they spoke out about it.
It's not surprising why the MET and police in general in England has such a low approval rating these days.
Not a stabbing, a knife of peace.
It wasn't very knife about it, but at least it's to the point.
Just part and parcel of living in a big city where dieversity is strength.
I hope he had a loicense for that knife.
