Are you daft? It said nothing about them not having been registered for the draft. Being registered does not mean that you will be drafted.

You have no idea if they are. You only know that women are required to register for the draft. That's it.

but women who flee are "refugees" and men who flee are to be hunted down, isn't proving that they lied to their people about what would happen?

No. It may prove any number of things to you, but it's not as if you needed the proof to begin with.

I wonder what happened to change their minds?

You still have not shown evidence that women were no longer required to register for the draft.
