And before you cry a river, Mexico did approach Russia for some time before to the point they even acquired helicopters from them. Nato is a defensive organization and not an attack organization. Imagine if America invaded Mexico right now and told them it was doing so to stop nazis and then told Canada not to join any other defensive organization or they will Get attacked.
Meanwhile when Ukraine decided to cozy up to the EU, Putin went there and had a nice little talk with the president. Then he changed his mind magically(something the other little Russia lovers here seems to forget). But he didn't last once the people began protesting.

I can't understand how blind you are, neither side is good. I am simply choosing the least evil. After all, at least Nato hasn't stolen combat footage from others for propaganda or used video game videos and claimed it was real before.
