Exactly, the problem I have with "Hitler is the devil"ists, is that they're looking at a dot-to-dot puzzle, ignoring all the dots they don't like, and connecting just the ones that draw the picture the want to see...

I wasn't judging Hitler, but it's always nice to see the unironic "Hitler Did Nothing Wrong" fanboys crawl out from under their rocks.
Please cite where I said he did nothing wrong.
Acknowledging Hitler as a multifaceted Leader (wether you like it or not, he was one), is not absolving him of atrocities he and his regime caused.
Acknowledging there were multiple reasons for Germany to then, go to war is not tantamount to doing nothing wrong or being apologetic for it.
The treaty of Versailles and all its clauses were designed to be broken. As said previously, it wasn't a peace treaty it was a "let's delay this issue until later" tactic. Almost all treaties and amnesties are designed in this way.
The one that was imposed on Germany after WWII was exactly the same. Over punitive and designed to be broken.
Please cite where I said "Hitler was the Devil."
I offered a few events that led to the breakout of WWII, to debunk a moronic antisemitic conspiracy gif. You assumed I had a simplistic view of history and then smugly tried to use my own metaphor against something I never said.
I assumed this display of butthurt was because you were a Nazi apologist. If you are not, then I apologize for lumping you in with the "Hitler Did Nothing Wrong" crowd.
Natural assumption when you defaulted to "conspiracy theorists".
If you understand that a situation can be multifaceted, then you should apply the same to people, or face being called the opposite of what you call them appropo, ...
Heed your own words;.
