There is a part of me that wants to buy it since I love Skyrim but my nerd annoyance with GRRM is pretty strong. I know he owes me nothing but as a courtesy to his readers he could just say he has no interest in finishing Ice and Fire or hire someone to finish it.

Yea it makes no sense that HBO would use him again. Considering that he couldn’t finish Ice and Fire which was a major cause in GOT tanking
If you haven’t noticed by now media companies like writers who will bow down to their shit rewrites or whose families will allowed their dead relatives works to be butchered.
