One of my friends who works at another Fortune 500 has told me that everything I experienced at my old company is even worse and that there is only one other non-Indian in their whole department. This person feels that they are a weak programmer, and nothing has done more to boost their confidence in their skills than seeing that most "professional" programmers at these big companies earning six figures are complete crap.

the answer is, what is the reason microsoft has turned completely to shit over the last ~8 so years.
