I currently need to renew my license. Previously, to do that, I would go into the state government “shopfront” (the DMV, for Americans).
Now, because everything here is insane, and due to “Covid [plus the death of Flash] giving us an opportunity to update our systems”, I can no longer do that in person, and am expected to go through an online portal, which requires me to send through my ID ONLINE, and then answer a vast questionnaire, JUST TO RENEW MY FUCKING LICENSE…
In a state of half a million. Like Vermont or Rhode Island, but smaller.
It is absolutely fucking mental how fucked everything here is, after two years of this complete bullshit.
And yet Zoomers seem to think it is “just wonderful”, and I’m just “old and outdated”… 🤦🏻♂️
“Conservative” state government? Check. “Conservative” federal government? Check. And yet here we are…
