So it appears that I currently can't log in to any (e: old) version of reddit, nor can I view the old mobile version of the site at all. Not sure if this is just me or if they're making some changes to the site. I'm also having issues when trying to view various other pages. Maybe at this point it's just time to jump ship and leave them behind.

I agree with the suggestion to get on Gab, but social media feeds and forum-style groups are totally different things.
Isn't Gab a twitter clone? I had a twitter for all of 4 months to follow/communicate with some game devs and I didn't really see the point with their format.
