Reddit allows you to visualize up to 1000 threads in a subreddit, older threads will be left out.
you can eventually scavenge some older threads with the search function but the result is lackluster.
this tool allows you to set specific timeframes and read posts made from that specific timeframe and also to use search terms if you want to narrow the research further.
