This is just marketing. Female victims illicit more sympathy than men from society as a while. The right-wing (her demographic) literally think trans are pedos. This is wrong and a way over simplication of the problem but it gets voters. She's a grifter. She's just going to say whatever she thinks will boost her support. She's not concerned with addressing the real problems.
