My thoughts exactly. Humans are the worst thing to happen to Earth.
Absolute fucking morons. Humans are the BEST thing to ever happen to Earth.
Let me explain in very clear and simple terms:
It took 3 to 4 billion years for life to get from the first protozoa to where it is now.
It took 250 million years for life to get from dinosaurs to where it is now.
There are 1.1 billion years to left until the sun gets so bright and hot that it completely evaporates the oceans and kills everything, and that 1.1 billion years is a MAXIMUM lifetime for this planet, that does not account for any other possibility like a catastrophic asteroid impact or anything like that.
Put simply, time is running out. If humans disappear tomorrow, the likelihood of another species rising to take our place and surpassing our technology before the inevitable end is fucking slim.
We humans are very likely the ONLY HOPE that life on Earth has of surviving beyond 1.1 billion years. Without us, all life on earth IS DOOMED in 1.1 billion years. With us, there is a chance of living beyond this.
We are the SOLE POSSIBILITY for the future of all life on earth.
Only we can escape the planet. Only we can find a new one. Only we stand a chance of preventing an extinction level asteroid should it come our way.
