It gave former agnostics like me a way of appreciating the Bible. I consider him to be a modern apostle to atheists and agnostics. I am now going through the motions to become a member of the Catholic church and it's thanks to him. There are two sorts of Peterson fans - those that use him to pwn the sjw's and those that avidly listened to and learned from his lectures. Though I have moved past him and see him now as just another liberal that naively believes in the boomer truth regime, I greatly value what I have learned thanks to him.
