They don't have much, but there's some nice islands off the coast. It's like a nicer version of Cancun, which isn't particularly far away and also Acapulco. Most people do speak English, but a lot of people speak something else in their day to day. The Mayans built what are still the tallest structures in the country. I asked them why they don't build anything, and they kind of just shrugged. Like a lot of tropical places, it's nice if you have a lot of money, not as nice if you are poor but hey nice weather, and they don't seem very ambitious.
