Was watching the army navy game and during one of the player promos a navy player saluted in dress uniform, with a BLM wristband. Doing a little digging found this:
The US Navy’s "extremism" training says it’s okay to advocate for Black Lives Matter (BLM) while at work but sailors are not allowed to discuss "politically partisan" issues, according to training slides obtained by Fox News. link
Of course back in October the Navy wife selling military secrets was a BLM advocate. On top of the Navy football head coach being a better SJW than coach.
Don’t expect anyone in the government to be a “good guy with a gun”. They are being conditioned to view you as the enemy, not citizens.
What did you expect from mercenaries? Do you still think people enlist for high-minded ideals such as patriotism and freedom? No. They'll blindly follow orders to keep their paychecks and pensions, up until shit gets too real and they go AWOL like all mercenary armies.
Well I joined in 99 and have a military family. I enlisted with my head full of patriotic dreams. Granted I know better now
They also intended for there to be no standing army.
I totally agree. Makes me sad how I get laughed at when I point out that something isn’t constitutional
Years ago, yes.
These days, absolutely not.
Virtually every military family I know tells their kids to never enlist. The only ones still pushing in are the open communist lefties who use it as a pipeline to get their family cushy administrative officer positions.
Our military is all but dead once the last generation of enlistees from the early 2000s post 9/11 push leave.
The only thing that will be left are the merit based R&D teams, and even those are filled with leftists now.
Can second this. Military family going back generations. The ones who were the latest to be in the armed forces all told me it was as absolute dumpster fire.. iirc they started saying this towards the end of the Obama years.
It's a shame, being in for at least a term has always been on my list but looks like that tradition of service ends with me
