Not even half way through the first sentence and they're already lying.
It's the semi-automatic civillian version of the AR15. It LOOKS like an assault rifle, but it is not, because it has no selective fire capability.
"Assault rifle" is a stupid purely civilian term besides a German WWII weapon and also a propaganda buzzword by Literally Hitler (because it's previous name was "machine pistol").
But sturmgewerh sounds so much cooler and edgy than machinepistolen
