Still boggles my mind how people are still fearful. I mean if you are elderly or high risk I understand being cautious, but that is true for any sickness. Same with obesity.
There has been a general feminization of society that we didn't notice because we're living in it. I got an email from work saying "Everyone have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!"
Why do people keep saying "stay safe out there"? I've even caught myself using it. Nothing wrong with being safe, it's better than not being safe, but when did it become an aspiration?
My mom would always say "be safe" or some variation to me, I'd always reply, "safe from what?" Because there really was no danger wherever I was going.
