If so what are your stories? What have you noticed? It feels like the air itself is 'spiritually charged' with bad ju ju now where I hope it doesn't come to the point they can monitor our thoughts.

I’ve been a member of GameFAQs for, oh, 16 years or so now? I never been suspended once until Biden’s America. Been suspended probably 10 times now. Not sure why I haven’t been outright banned, maybe because I’m a ? Block.
Now the mods/admins will suspend you for ever going against the narrative. My latest suspension was making a “pure blood” joke. Naturally, they allow any and all hatred and lies of anything right of Stalin.
More since the St. Floyd Summer of Love than anything to do Biden. I left several chat rooms that were completely apolitical before when it was clear how many of the people there thought destroying private property was ok because "muh insurance" and anyone who didn't support BLM was a racist monster.
The private property argument is so fucking disingenuous. If a big screen TV and a human being are both dangling off a cliff, I'm rescuing the human being. That's how you value life over property. But if someone is taking a big screen TV from someone else by force, I'm not a monster for thinking the aggressor should be met with violent force. In fact, you're the monster for thinking otherwise.
When people ask you "What is the value of a human life" watch their face when you say, "About $800. That's what a human being cost these days at a North African slave market. An indentured servant is cheaper, about $350 in much of the Middle East. Children are less than $50."
Then after a few moments of silence add, "Don't ask questions you don't want answers too..."
that's nice, but in real life, they wouldn't let you get any more words in after that "about 800$" part. either they would shout you down, would completely misrepresent what you're trying to say, or just clam up and stop listening.
If you scowl and use a command voice they shut the hell up. Again when they are confronted by someone who barks back they cower. They may clam up, but they typically shut the hell up. Now I spent half a decade in those parts of the world and saw it first hand. They have not. They never left the comforts of their upper middle class lives around me before. Now I understand others can't say the same.
I was a Fark regular and they always leaned left. But they took a hard left shift when the owner announced that "misogyny" and pretty much any non-left opinion was a sanctionable offense. Then unleashed his sycophant power-tripping mods to purge the non-believers.
Slashdot similarly went full commie around that time but it was less banning than a massive dogpiling and downvoting of anyone who questioned the narrative.
And I would get most everyone here has a reddit story about how he personally saw things getting worse until he finally had enough.
Not sure if it qualifies, but 9Gag used to be awesome. Not sure what happened but it's unbearable now.
For me not really, but outside of here most of the places I frequent are fairly niche and tend to lean towards activity that requires some actual skills, so leftists get rooted out earlier. Unless I count Reddit, but I don't really participate there at all. It's more of a spectator sport watching the monkeys fling shit at each other.
I'm sure someone is capable by now, judging by the evolution of patents over the years. Evoked potentials is an interesting rabbit hole.
