Of course the faggot reveals his true RINO colors...

I don't get it.
Edit: I see now, reading the other replies. The tweet is objectively true and innocent, but there's a subtext that this guy can't be trusted and must have ulterior motives. I don't know who the guy is. People always put his tweets in p.win, and he sounds based, but if Ben Shapiro said the same thing then yeah I'd be like "fuck off faggot".
Apparently thinking a movement needs to move beyond the person that started it makes you a RINO.
This is why we lose.
That doesn't, but the fact that Walsh was NeverTrump back in 2016 suggests that maybe his suggestion to "move beyond Trump" isn't based on some cold calculated analysis of how to further Trump's 2016 agenda but rather to "pretend this all never happened" as he says in that article.
A lot of never Trump people changed their minds during his presidency. This purity spiral is going to ruin the movement.
Not a "purity spiral": simple pattern recognition in locating probable members of "Populist, Inc" as it starts to arise. The people who sold this country out before and will do it again at first opportunity but this time wearing a MAGA hat and waving a Trump flag.
When someone says "Trump is the embodiment of everything I hate about US politics, and I hate his supporters even more for enabling him", it's fair to ask why all of a sudden he climbed on board the Trump Train and into bed with Trump's supporters. And adopted some of Trump's mannerisms he claimed to hate as he adjusted his twitter persona.
Please, refute what he said.
MAGA has transcended Trump, and that's what we need. At best Trump can have one more term. What are we going to do after that? Pack it all up and throw in the towel because he's not the candidate anymore? What about when he inevitably retires or passes?
We can't rely on one person forever you dunce.
But, hey, Walsh isn't perfect so we can't possibly acknowledge when he says something right.
No one is expecting Trump to be a superhero to fix all the worlds problems. What he is, is the best and most prominent figurehead of a movement that still has a lot of steam left in it. Trump is the only one who has beaten the globalists at least once. Why give up on that?
Moving beyond Trump is one thing; abandoning Trump is another. Matt isn't explicit about which one he's referring to.
Want to "move beyond" Trump to an even more hard-line anti-establishment position? Absolutely.
Want to "move beyond" Trump to a more happy-go-lucky, lets-all-be-friends position? Absolutely not.
