I don't see anything about credit or social scores in the links in your comment. Gateway Pundit is the only site that mentions them. The stuff I'm seeing in those other links talk about verifying your age and identity more easily. People are right to be suspicious of digitizing this stuff, but I'm not seeing any support for the claims the GP article is making. All the states mentioned are deep red states as well, which makes me doubt these claims more. If the claims were true shit holes like Commieforia and New York would be more likely to pioneer it than conservative bastions.
Gateway PUNDIT. That word is enough to tell me what it's all about. I don't think you even know what a PUNDIT is. I know I didn't tell Dad told me and you all need to be careful where you read. It means someone who speaks a lot about ideas and OPINIONS.
It's like getting your news from The Onion which people who know better don't.
From the NoNewNormal .win comments, a political group was propagating the idea that this program could include or would eventually include stuff listed in the image once implemented.
Utah’s mDL will allow users to have control over data minimization, which is a primary component of privacy. Data minimization means that a mDL holder can release only select data elements to a verifying entity. This stands in contrast to sharing all data as individuals do now when they hand over a physical card. For example, when using a mDL to prove one’s age, the mDL holder can limit data release to only a portrait image and the fact that the mDL holder is older than 18. This privacy aspect is a primary benefit to Utahns who utilize the mDL.
Why the fuck would anyone ever want to share more than that?
(Except for Branch Covidians who are eager to prove their loyalty to the clot shot, of course.)
Doing traffic drives is actually a lot of fun in Utah, so long as you do it outside of very busy hours. Also, there will be people going 20 under the speed limit in a center lane, thinking they are being safe. It is a lot of fun, and now I wanted to set up a real life NfSMW... Thanks.
The Gateway Pundit is often first with breaking stories, but that's largely because they are habitually irresponsible and just throw stuff out. For this story, all it seems to be is "here's a list of things someone might put on a digital ID".

they should have given it its own site, that version of win is shit like nureddit.
I've been blocked from No New Normal as it's all about The New Normal now.

Knowing how people drive in Utah, a score might be needed.
Nobody would drive then!
They might compete for worst score.
Sounds like the plot of Need for Speed Most Wanted. sign me up!
EDIT: in case the joke was taken seriously, reminder: don't drive like an asshole on public roads!
