The "victim" was gay guy who was into catfishing men and not a tranny, so they were probably a little less eager to run the story regardless of the killer's race for that reason. I posted a few threads here on that particular story when it first happened, and I correctly predicted that it was a gay guy before that information broke because the lack of REEEEing about "transphobia" told me all I needed to know.
It's a wildly inaccurate or heavily Insta-filtered photo being used in the story. I don't think anyone who met Jessi IRL would have been fooled. I suspect the perp is a fellow deviant possibly a serial killer.
