It’s funny, the worst people online every time are clearly women, the most susceptible people online are also clearly women. So why don’t we just solve the problem and ban women from the internet?
I long for the golden age when there were no girls on the internet. It was a simpler time.
Why pretend to be sovereign countries when they all go the same way? Some people say the cyber bullying in Japan is a lot worse than in the west, but this is obviously just going to censor the net until it reaches shitty western standards especially with these vague wordings. .
Can confirm cyber bullying WAS far worse than it was here. Doxing, REAL irl harassment, nastly messages on all platforms and trying to get you fired because someone doesn't like you was common place 10 years ago there. Japanese netizens and hikikomori go way too far.

Hikikomori is their turn for shut in or incel for those non weebs.
Women rule Japan.
Come on Japan!
The article brings up that female professional wrestler's(Hana Kimura) suicide, because netizens dogged on her, but what wasn't said was that she herself was not innocent and it was because she kept bullying another guy on TV for a small issue, even whilst he kept apologizing.
Watched Terrace House: Tokyo, she bullied no one. Dude shrunk her wrestling attire and she got pissed and let him know she was pissed and slapped his hat off when he was unapologetic (Which is considered EXTREMELY rude is disrespectful, culturally apologizing sincerely is a necessity) and the netizens lost their shit. It later came out that the people running the show instigated the situation and Kai Kobayashi (The guy she got into it with) leaked one of staff members asked him to grope one of her tits for the drama.

To be fair, Japan’s social media tends to be at the level of toxicity where it’s basically a sport to push people to suicide.
Not defending the plan, but it’s not like western countries where saying “I disagree” is a literal hate crime.
Show me one time when the worst common denominator wasn't used as an excuse for censorship.
their forums are probably a lot more fun though
Nah, their loons take it to new levels of creep. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-50000234
But what insults are they going to ban? "Shine!" is the same as "KYS", or "Go to hell".
Anyone who kills themselves due to some characters on a screen is too weak to be granted the gift of life. I'm perfectly happy with their suicide.
Which celeb committed suicide now? Last time this came up was right after Hana Kimura committed suicide.
At least it's not political.
