I have decided to list out some known warning signs that media as nearly 10/10 times it indicates the thing is pozzed.
-
Thin Line style: also referred to as the Cal-art's style by many critics. it's considered the most abused art style in media today and is only popular with regressive leftists who's reasons for liking it tend to be connected to their ideology or because they're Steven universe fans.
-
Dark skinned characters in the forefront without adequate lore justification: Done to cater to extremists.
-
Non whites, especially blacks, having exaggerated abet realistic racial features: Blatant warning sign of extremist pandering
-
Women who look too masculine/intentionally desexualized: this is done to cater to gender identity extremists, body positivity extremists, and adherents to objectification theory.
-
Trannies outside of humor or without legitimate lore justification: Done to cater to gender identity extremists with the only exceptions to this rule being pornography with TF type content.
-
Plots involving Neo-Nazis/White Supremacists and/or racist whites in general usually created past 2010: This is a blatant warning sign the plot involves regressive leftist propaganda.
-
Racemixing: done to cater to extremists
-
Race swaps of preexisting characters, including swaping the characters with a new nonwhite character.
-
Shoehorned references to homosexuality/bisexuality/alt sexualites and sexuality in general.
-
Regressive leftist lingo and buzzwords: lgbt[insert random crap here+], shitlord, fuckboy, etc.
-
Openly Identifying the product as "woke"
-
Hair styles popular with regressive leftists.
-
Literally anyone connected to the company expressing any behaviors that indicate they are a regressive leftist.*
The only exception to these signs is that the creator is openly rejects the regressive left and is not aligned with any other questionable ideology.
Be sure to suggest any other additions! Also, the mods should consider adding this to some sort of FAQ about identifying propaganda.
*this includes:
- having pronouns in the bio
- spewing regressive leftist propaganda and conspiracy theories
- having any regressive leftist memes on their account like the "socialist teeth" avatars
- outright identifying as a regressive leftist by calling themselves a:
-
- SJW
-
- intersectionalist
-
- trans rights activist
-
- "anti-racist"
-
- "anti-fascist" (also declaration of terrorist affiliation with Antifa)
-
- any variation of Marxist/communist/socialist/etc., though classical communist's may also identify under both the base terms and even some minor variants, and regressive leftists may still identify under Cultural Marxist in super rare cases even though the term was abandoned due to their conspiracy theories about it's origin.
-
- Critical (blank/insert anything else here) theorist
-
- Feminist, though it should be noted gender criticals also call themselves this.
- Openly declaring affiliation with any regressive leftist group
Against those signs they use the bait and switch trick where the trailer of a film of the first episodes of a series seem decent but really hide an upcoming lecture on wokeism. Latest offender I've seen is The White Lotus miniseries with its cringey in-your-face leftist dialogues starting at the 4th episode or so.
Yeah, this tactic is something they would obviously do, though I think the solution would be to implement laws targeting regressive leftist propaganda with allowances for false advertising charges.
What did they do? I think Westworld and Stranger Things are other examples
This is a big one. Any show that becomes popular is immediately targeted for wokefication. This process usually starts with calls to "diversify" the writing room. Once that beachhead has been established, lefties can begin injecting their propaganda into subsequent seasons or sequels. These people count on the gravity of your 1-2 season investment to keep you watching as they rapidly shift from entertaining you to indoctrinating you.
Rick and Morty actually started out relatively good IMO. It immediately went to shit when Harmon hired a bunch of feminist writers in a desperate attempt to escape the MeToo mob.
