In my city? An African man recently brought over his 100^th "family member" through sponsorship. (Note: also "family of family" it's complicated)
Now: This guy is a freaking Saint. I've personally met him, he's the real deal.
The people he's brought over from the 3rd World Shithole he escaped from are also the real McCoy. They're hard working Christians who add a great deal to Canada's population. They know they're fleeing from Hell into... Canada. Which was paradise for many people in the past and present too.
I'd invite them all to my house for beers and BBQ any day. I used to work in Childcare with some of their kids. These are the sort of people we will welcome with open arms into our nations. Legally of course.
The 15,000 waltzing illegally into America from Haiti via Mexico? No, not.
That's the difference between Lefties and Sane Persons: telling the legals from the illegals and acting accordingly.

Immigration should see an immediate 100% end. NOONE, and I MEAN NOONE comes in, period. We got way too much internal shit going on to worry about bringing more problems in. In a decade or so after we get our internal problems squared away, then, maybe then we can talk about letting a few extra people in.
It took him over 20 years. Every single person he brought over speaks fluent English, has a job, is a model citizen, is part of their ethnic community and local community too.
He personally paid for most of it, with some fundraising as well.
These are the sort of folks who actually do improve the nation they come to.
