And if she's a stewardess, well, I wouldn't want to be served food by any sweaty/hairy-pitted ape with bare armpits, male or female, frankly. There's a reason certain parts should be covered vis a vis certain professions.

But yeah, I get that this is not why the change happened, though, and that not all cultures think pits are gross.
