Stop making sense. But I remember the Green Lantern Jon Stewart was popular with a lot of people during the justice league cartoon. He wouldn’t have been popular if they had used him to push the usual “black oppression” we see today.
Your point also makes me think of the crazy women on Twitter whining about why action video games are so masculine
I grew up with JLU Green Lantern. Had he opened up about any kind of nonexistent racism in the early 2000s I'd have dropped him like a hot rock.
I haven’t read a modern green lantern comic book in a while. I have 70s and 80s comics and I’m sure it’s there but not to the level of today. I really enjoy Hal Jordan and Jon Stewart GL stuff from the past
